Dinajpur Review -
Having chosen to walk to this event with a co member, we arrived at just the right time, if not a little warm, at the bull and butcher. Someone else was running the whip and in the middle of being served – Perfect. Service here was efficient and we were almost on our own in the lounge area.
Across to the Dinajpur at the allotted time (8:30) and seated efficiently, with drinks, popadoms and pickles arriving without incident. These were of a good standard, as the comments below show, so we were off to a good start.
My starter of Lamb stuffed pepper was well presented, full of meat and spices. My only negative comment being the Lamb mix was a little dry.
For the main course, I ordered the first curry dish I ever ordered in Milton Keynes (from this very boutique), Murgh Shabzi Bahar. I was not disappointed, as the flavours and spices combined to give a very tasty dish. The usual combinations of sides were selected by the team and I can vouch that the mushroom bahji and brinjal bahji were both up to scratch.
Overall there was nothing for me to complain about in terms of service, dishes, cleanliness or friendliness of staff. However, equally nothing was outstanding and as such I would class this restaurant as a good average. The experience was certainly better than my last visit with my wife and I don’t think it would be a big further step to make this a really excellent place to eat.
Summary -
The only place we have seen where the plates match the wall!
Two very good free dishes for us to try, Kurzi chicken and special King Prawn veg.
