Ganges Lounge Review - November 2010

wp9d79159d.png

The newly named Ganges Lounge (was Cafe Ganges).

Same location, same size but new owners and a very good, young chef, called Moshahidul Islam.

This has given the restaurant a new lease of life and will prove stiff competition for nearby restaurants in Fenny and Bletchley. Overall, the food was excellent (see positive comments below) and the service was good with a smile.

Could not understand why it was so quiet on a Friday night - recession?

Summary - Quality food at a great price. The Ganges Lounge moves into one of the top positions of our review table

Common Curry - Very good value, as good as the price gets on a normal night.

4 star certificate awarded.

  • Onion bhajee a little too crispy into the middle
  • There were little, or no, negative comments on the scoring sheets from a cross section of orders, apart from we were full and wanted to eat more.
