Indian Cottage Review - February 2011
Located on the High Street in Newport Pagnell you would think that the restaurant
would be very busy but only a few tables were taken and by 10 o’clock the place was
empty apart from us.
No particular reason for this as far as we could determine as the staff were very
attentive, the ambiance is reasonable and the food was ok at an average price.
Maybe ‘average’ is the word as it was difficult to find something that made the Indian
Cottage stand out from other Indian restaurants in MK. Not a bad place to take your
partner but I’m not sure that many of the club would choose to go here were they
given the choice.
Summary - Generally, the main course dishes lacked any heat or spice and were too
sweet. The overall experience lacked something to get excited about.
Common Curry - An average price.
No certificate awarded.
