Woburn Sands -
The restaurant called to put us back from our booked time and even when we arrived still were not ready for us. Never a good start to put us on the side of the restaurant.
We do like the round table in the alcove, keeps us away from other diners and makes it better for group discussions. Once seated, however, we did have to ask for some service. Although busy, the waiters were not very attentive, we do like to feel we are at least wanted there if not necessarily needed there.
Generally speaking the food was good quality, all of it noticably hotter than is normal, maybe this is usual or maybe it was just for our benefit? In any case, this caused a few comments from members the following day!
While the Jalori is in its price range it is never going to be a favourite place for the Curry Club as there is nothing else extraordinary about it to bring it up the reviews table.

Positive:
- Seated on the 'party' table, which is round and very sociable
- Poppadoms/dips were good
- Kebab E Aloo Palak starter, a little greasy, but nice and spicy
- Rashmi kebab, special order, perhaps the best ever tasted. Now thats a recommendation
- Jalori Special starter, a mix, not bad but the onion bhajee a bit bland
- Lamb Madras, hot, which made it difficult to taste
- Lamb Jalfrezi -
as good as it gets - Karahi Chicken very good, spicier than normal
- Chicken Sagwalla, good subtle taste, not too hot
- Good Keema rice
- Terrific nan breads
Negative:
- Our booked time was put back 30mins and even then it was another 15 mins late
- No table heaters
- Puree is crispy -
that's new, hotter than usual - The staff were generally not too attentive, we had to ask for service
