Moza Review -
We all gathered at the Cannon pub a short distance from the fabled Moza. Much talk of a poor showing last time, mainly regarding having to wait while they fitted us into the tiny dining area. Plus the food last time round was not exactly memorable (well not for the right reasons).
After some supping of cloven hoof and fondling of a rather large pumpkin we strode off into the dark night in search of... well waiting about as per our last visit really...Yes, they were not ready for us. It took about 15 min’s to finally seat us at the rather murky bench tables made out of kitchen work top. You could tell that was what it was from the many cigarette burns to the surface!
A cheerful start as 10 Cobra beers were produce purchased in advance for the occasion of ‘Sticks Stirzy’s birthday! As such the phrase ‘Debbie does Cobra’ went down in mkcc history. Grub was swiftly ordered using the junior Middleton’s well proven Ted Rodgers ordering system (321!) Starters arrived just within an acceptable window and what followed was a fairly large chunk of disappointment. Many were simply pre made and fried efforts and the puries were accompanied by a giant doughy mass far too big a portion! General moans were developing all round. A long time seemed to pass but mains eventually arrived, and to general surprise were well received! Certainly a few comments around freshness here and tenderness there. But l suspect that this was more relief than praise as we had feared the worst following the starters and then were starving !
At the end of the day it was all very cheaply done and average in quality, the customer service and facilities are not what you would go back for, and as such this reviewer would be happy to see this place removed from the listings. l would never wanna go back !
