Naidni Review - August 2011
The staff at the Naidni were very pleasant and attentive. They made us very welcome
and are trying out several things on the menu to make a success of the restaurant
in difficult times.
One of those things is the different starters on offer. We, unusually, chose to share
a mixed starter - ‘the house platter’, containing lamb chop, kebab, cheese (we think),
tandoori chicken and bhajees to name a few. Not traditional but very sociable, especially
as we were all on a round table.
Many of the main dishes were very good but the chicken was generally dry, possibly
overcooked. More consistency required to raise their score and qualify for a certificate.
Summary - A little disappointed with the main courses and some members prefer to
remain more traditional. Never the less a good restaurant to visit with your partner.
Common Curry - Comes out at an average price, although the beer is expensive, not
bad value for the money.
No certificate awarded.
