Raj Douth - April 2006

Summary

So here we are trying out MK's newest curry house; the Raj Douth on Emerson Valley.

The opening of this restaurant has generated a huge amount of interest within the MKCC due to its close proximity to the homes of quite a number of our members.

The restaurant is located amongst the clutch of grotty shops up by near the Clock Tower pub. The pub where we did meet beforehand too. Not a great pub but it managed to keep us in drinks for an hour.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with a very new and deep carpet. Modern decoration and tableware which is not a bad thing.

So what did we think? Well I have to say that the scores accurately reflect a very good evening on all fronts. Friendly and cheeky service, good food, nice restaurant and decor. If I were to be picky we were a little disappointed not to be allowed to pay the kitchens a visit at the end of the evening. However, it's good to see a new restaurant making an immediate impact on a new community.

If you live up at Emerson valley then stroll along and give the Raj Douth. A Certificate of Excellence will be shortly on it's way!
